Fanny was a kind, caring, generous person. She was a long time member of the Legion and the Catholic Women’s League. After retiring from a long career as waitress at the Esso in Indian Head you could often find her playing bingo, knitting or doing crafts often donating several of the items she made. She enjoyed spending time with her sisters at flea markets and craft sales or doing a bit of travelling. Time spent with her grandchildren kept her young at heart, as she would light up at just the sight of them. She had a lovely long life and will be dearly missed by all those she knew and loved.
The family would like to thank Dr. Joan Hamilton, staff from both Palliative Homecare and Grace Hospice.
As per Fanny’s wishes cremation with a family graveside service will be held at a later date.
If friends so desire contributions may be made to the heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 219-3rd Ave. North Saskatoon SK S7K 2H8 as tokens of remembrance.
