Sincere condolences to Al and family. Gloria was a dear friend and I have many fond memories of her. She was an all around great person and I feel fortunate to have known her.

 Gloria was a kind and loving lady .
 I spent most of my childhood in hospital following Gloria around , I think I adopted her as my  Gramma for many of those years spent beside her .
 She always had time to stop and talk when I'd come home to IH .
 After Mom went into nursing care in Wolseley ,I was able to spend more time with her  ,she loved talking about all her children, and all their accomplishments over the years , and always made sure to ask how we were all doing .
Such a beautiful lady , kind and loving that's how I wil remember her  
Rest in Eternal Peace and Love .Gloria .

Gloria was truly a beautiful human. Honest, loving, intelligent, compassionate, strong, loyal, determined, a leader, a pioneer, fiercely proud of her family and so much more.  Gloria was a huge part of my life growing up, and I am so thankful for that.

Condolences to Al and the family,
Gloria was my Mothers very good friend for many, many years.
When my Mom moved to the Care Home in Indian Head,  Gloria was right there to help her settle in ,she was a constant companion, and helper for several years. I will forever be grateful for that.
She had a big heart, was very generous with helping in the community or anywhere it was needed.
She spoke very highly of her family and was always genuinely interested in all of   our family as well.
I’ll always remember the wonderfully tasty Seafood  Lasagna she made for our lunch date,  she was a fantastic cook.
Rest in Peace Gloria, your work on earth is done, you did very well.🙏

Our thoughts and prayers are with Al and family in the loss of Gloria, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and mother-in -law.
Gloria was an unforgetable friend, generous, helpful, thoughtful, with a great sense of humour.  Our whole family became a part of her family and she remembered to ask about all of them.  She was one of the first neighbors Larry and I met when we moved to Indian Head.  
"Our loved ones are never really lost, never separated from us.  If we cherish their memory in prayer, they become present to us.  They are not just a memory but a real presence, a presence we feel rather than see.  When we remember them with love, we are in communion with them."

Gloria, she was my "big sister" in nursing school. She became my sister in law after  nursing school. Let us cherish the memories.

My deepest condolences to Gloria’s family. Gloria was a light that lit up many different folks during her time at Lakeside, residents and staff. I will always remember her as a friend and someone who I grew to love. To know her was to know the love she had for her family, her boys and her pride in her life’s work. From getting to know her at work to many visits with my little Londyn after hours who also loved her dearly, she will be missed.

I began my career working with Gloria in 1980 at the Indian Head Union Hospital were she mentored me as a new grad nurse. We spent many shifts her talking about the boys and Hockey of course. Gloria always had time to stop and have a chat with me asking about my family and updating me on hers as she was so proud of. Over the years I had the pleasure of getting to know her and her family and of course learning  from her, her nursing knowledge that I carried through out my nursing career. I was deeply saddened to hear of Gloria’s passing. She was truly an amazing woman. I feel incredibly grateful to have grown up with her in my life. Gloria was always welcoming, caring, and full of advice to keep us boys out of trouble.

She loved her boys fiercely and she extended that same kindness and care to all of their friends. Her dedication to the town, the church, and especially to supporting her son’s sports teams was something special to witness.

Gloria’s warmth, strength, and generosity touched everyone who knew her. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love and community, and I feel honored to have been one small part of her world.

My condolences to Karpas family. Karpa was honestly a light we had in the rec department at Wolseley! She knew how to crack a joke to make us ladies laugh. I’ll never forget the day Shyla and I took her out the the farm and she took us down a back road in the good old Fleury bus. I’m truly going to miss seeing her everytime I came to work🩷 Loved my chats with her, she was truly a proud mom of her boys!

Al and family; My condolences to everyone. When I first met Gloria she was my Homecare Manager in Wolsley. I was taught alot working under her and never looked back. My love for homecare excelled. We always had interesting talks from children,cooking, farming and sports. Gloria's knowledge, advice, and friendship will remain with me forever. God Bless

I recall her as being an integral member of the CWL at St Joseph’s in IH, being kind and helpful. She was very kind to our family during the passing of our dad, Ted, helpful organizing the details of the funeral and supporting us as we navigated our way through.

Gloria was an inspiration to me. She is my boyfriend Dylan's grandmother. The moment I met her I knew she was a strong and admirable woman. We had some great laughs and visits. She will always have a place in my heart. My condolences to everyone who knew Gloria.
