

The funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph's R.C. Church, Indian Head, SK. on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. by the Rev. George Thattuparampil. Interment in Indian Head Cemetery.
John was predeceased by his wife Kay in 1998, son Terry in 1977, special friend Bessie McGonigal in 2007, parents Pius and Pauline Schaaf, four brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law: Frank Heintz, Sam Wickenheiser, Henry Heintz and Leo and Mary Folk. John is survived by one daughter Karen Schmidt, Indian Head, two granddaughters, Tracy Schmidt (Tyler), Estevan and Kristen Schmidt (Leighton), Regina, extended family Dorothy (Keith) Hawken and family Nicole (Chad) Meyer and family Ethan and Troy and Derek Hawken and also the Werner families, one brother Edwin (Doris) Schaaf, Regina, three sisters-in-law; Anne Wickenheiser, Vibank, SK., Bertha Heintz and Linda Heintz, Regina and also his nieces and nephews.
