I went to Bolivia in 1967 as a teacher in the jungle area of Tumi Chucua.  One time I and another single lady went to La Paz to visit Marian and Fran.  They took us up the mountain that day to pass out Aymara Literature.  I was blessed to converse with her other times at Tumi Chucua.

I met Marion as a new missionary in 1975. She invited me to visit Aymara schools in the Bolivian highlands along with her. I'll never forget the ride...

My condolences to your family. She was "Aunt Marion" to me as I grew up in Bolivia. I remember her loving spirit. She continued to keep in touch and write such wonderful letters. She kept up with world events and cared about so many people.

I met Marion in Regina Bible Colege in the late 40's.  I enjoyed her many visits to Calgary, hiking in the mountains and staying in Lake Louise. 
 thinking of you and would appreciate knowing Marion's status the last few months.  Will miss her, a great woman,

What a great woman Marion was -- bright, enthusiastic, effective, faithful, an encourager, a good friend and correspondent, committed to the Lord 100% through her long life. The Wycliffe family will miss her deeply.

We met Marion inRegina while attending the Bible School .We always kept in touch-- she was off to Bolivia and Fred and I were in ministry in Weyburn, Regina and Calgary.  While on furlough Marion usually visited us and we spent many happy times .  In later years we kept in touch by mail and phone calls..  I had just sent her a letter and Birthday card when I heard she had passed away.  Blessings and love to her family.  Pearl Anderson

We have many fond memories of Marion as she visited our churches while we were pastoring in Saskatchewan. Marion was truly dedicated and a committed missionary to the work that God had called her to in Bolivia.

We visited with Marion various times in Bolivia and were there when she left the country to return to Canada for good.  Because of Marion's influence, our daughter spent over 12 years serving in Bolivia.  Marion loved the people and the Lord  she was serving  We are sure,"Well done good and faithful servant." is her reward.

I was only about 5 y old when I first met Marion in our home (at Yorkton, SK). She was a very special friend of my mom's, [Ella Riegel]. I remember her stories of spreading the Gospel in far-away lands. I was so impressed by stories of actual miracles that God's angels performed in her life to provide her with personal protection. I'm sure that she is now receiving the rewards of her ministry. Praise be to God.

She stayed at my parents place in 1947 while she taught us children all about Gods love and sacrifice on the cross for our sins. She was like a loving sister to me and we always were close to our family even when she was in Bolivia and she came back to Indian Head when she returned to Canada. She will be missed. She touched my life so gently and made a big impact. I will always be grateful to and for her.

My condolences to the Heaslip family. Marion was such a lovely lady, both inside and out. It was a honor to know her while living in Saskatchewan so many years ago as she was a perfect example of how to live for God.

My "Tia Mariana" was the first person I visited in Bolivia.  Her life and service there inspired me to go back as a missionary where I spent 14 years and eventually married a Bolivian. She was an example and inspiration to me and all those who knew her.  She has gone home to her Saviour Whom she loved and served with all her heart. My prayers are with you at this time.

Imagine the laughing and talking going on now that Marion has joined the group in Heaven.  There might even be a Scrabble game going if they have time to fit it in.  Sorry for your loss but know she was looking foreword to going Home.  May God be near and give you comfort.
