Ramona Geremia

RAMONA GEREMIA - On Thursday, April 5, 2012, Ramona Geremia, Indian Head, Sk. passed away at the age of 83 years. It was Ramonaís wish there be a private family service. Ramona was predeceased by John in 2001, her parents, James Velv and Lauretta May Heggie, three brothers; Dean, Max and Doug Heggie and is survived by four sons: Alan (Elizabeth) Geremia, Indian Head; Brian (Jocelyn) Geremia, Cochrane, AB; Mark (Sarah) Geremia, Mission Lake, SK. and Roger (Laurie) Geremia, Indian Head, and one daughter, Karen (Bud) Geremia, Regina, eleven grandchildren: Peter Sorensen; Katherine, Stephen and Kevin Geremia; Drew, Noel and Julie Geremia; Dana (Jamie) Fleck and their family Avery, Ryland, Carter and Bryden; Jami (Jordan) Fleck and their daughter Sophie; Traci Geremia and friend Scott Blenkin, Taylor Senft and friend Sasha MacDonald, one brother Gordon (Ruth) Heggie, Claresholm, AB, one sister Evelyn (Steve) Prokop, Lethbridge, AB. also her many special neices and nephews. Ramona was born and raised in Raymond, AB. She completed business college in Calgary. After she married John, they lived in Raymond for a short time before moving to Cutbank, SK. Following the completion of the Gardiner Dam, the family moved to Indian Head, SK, where she resided until her death. Family was Ramonaís life. She was a dedicated daughter, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother. A visit to Grandma Gís was always special.
