Bobby died at Golden Prairie Nursing Home, Indian Head, SK. with his family by his side. Bobby was born on Carry The Kettle First Nation. He was predeceased by his parents Hector and Lena Eashappie; sisters: Agnes, Velma and Shirley; sons Doyle and Derryl; grandson Donovan Eashappie. He is survived by his sister Cora (Bill) Thomson; his brother Louis (Susan) Eashappie; his sons: Erwin (Pearleen) Eashappie; Wayne Pasap, Morris Pasap (Margo), Murray Pasap, Rob O’Watch and Matthew (Tewana) Eashappie; his daughters: Roberta (Errol) Eashappie, Donna (Art) Lerat, Daniela Pasap and Carla (Brian) Pasap; special grandchildren Chad Pasap, Stacey Eashappie (Nana Bush) and Kesslan Eashappie (his big girl) and numerous other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and good friends. Our Dad, Grandpa, brother and uncle loved horses and he always was willing to give a helping hand. He believed in hard work and getting things done. He played a big part in his grandchildren’s lives, enjoyed watching them play baseball and hockey. The door was always open for family and friends. He greeted them with a warm, kind smile. The family would like to thank Carry The Kettle Home Care, Staff and Dr. Pebane of Indian Head Hospital and Golden Prairie Nursing Home in Indian Head. A wake will be held at his residence on Carry The Kettle First Nation on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Band Hall Thursday, December 22 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Bernice Saulteaux and Elder Vincent Rider officiating. Interment in the South Cemetery with a Feast to follow at the Band Hall.
