

AdePeju F. Oshodi was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on May 10,1992 to Dr. Mosun Ayan-Oshodi and Lateef Oshodi. Known as Peju, she attended Charles A. Tindley Accelerated School for high school. Furthering her education, she received both her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and her Master of Science in Microbiology and Immunology from Indiana University.
Peju's most recent quest was in pursuit of her doctoral studies in Biomedical and Biological Sciences as a Cornell University Graduate School Dean's Scholar. Additionally, she was a part of the Telluride House. Her dedication to science, and education showcased only a fraction of her drive and potential in the advancements of science in her field of study.
She gained heavenly wings on December 20th, 2024, joining her parents in eternal rest. She is survived by her brother, Abioye Oshodi, MD. Along with being a dedicated daughter and sister, Peju was also a loving niece and cousin to many and cherished by a plethora of friends. She will be remembered most for being a pillar of support for those in her community, her intelligence, and unwavering generosity.
Though a void is left in the lives of those who knew her, comfort is found in knowing she is at peace, resting in the embrace of her Redeemer.
A Celebration of Life is planned for Friday January 24th, 2025 at Eastern Star Church - Cooper Road Campus, 5805 Cooper Road, Indianapolis, IN 46228. Visitation will be from 9:30-11am, and service from 11am-12pm.
