Alice M. Wesley Huffman

69, of Indianapolis, passed away on January 6, 2014.Alice was born on June 11, 1944 in Indianapolis to the late Cecil and Winnie Wesley. Alice is survived by Joe Huffman, daughter, Vickie (Larry) Bynum; sons, Joe (Debbie) Huffman; Mark (Tracy) Huffman; Granddaughters, Nichole Thomas & Emily Huffman; Grandsons, Mark Gansmiller & Sam Huffman; Great Grandsons, Tayvin & Joseph Thomas sisters, Jean Conant, June Cole & Betty Root; brother, Larry Wesley. Alice was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond (Bud) Wesley.

Alice was employed by Lane Bryant for over 40 years, where she established many great long lasting friendships. She also enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Alice had a passion for the beach. She loved walking the beach serching for shells, it was clear that she was in a complete state of relaxation when she was by the ocean. Her eyes would light up like the brightest star. You would think that she had found gold!

Alice had a very rich life. The last couple weeks of her life she was surrounded by her family. They gathered to visit with her, laugh & share so many memories etc. She will be greatly missed by all!

Visitation will be held at Little and Sons funeral home Stop 11 Chapel on Sunday, January 12, 2014 from 12:00 - 2:00p.m. Funeral Services will immediatly following at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be on Monday at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens at 10:30 a.m.
