Anne Frances Bickel

Passed away surrounded by her family with a short but courageous battle with small cell lung cancer.

Born to Dr. William Kemper, DDS and Frances Ann Hurt Kemper – Indianapolis, IN member of St. Joan of Arc, attended Park Tudor School, Pine Manor College, Indiana University for her undergraduate degree in Education and Bulter University for Masters in Education. Member of Delta Gamma Sorority – Theta Chapter, Christamore Aid Society, March of Dimes, Junior League of Indianapolis, Mary Rigg and Latrian.

Chaired countless volunteer events and PTA roles with Carmel Clay Schools.Adored Indiana University Basketball, the beach, dogs and friends.Owned and operated Ruthies Uniforms.

Preceded in death by her husband Roger McLeod Bickel, sister Marnie Kemper Inman and brother James Kemper.

Survived by her 4 children, 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren:

Karen Elizabeth Bickel Cosgrove (Mike), Kathryn, Matt, Meg. Mark Bickel, Kemper Roger Bickel (Michelle) Caitlin, Ian, Reece. Aria and Eli. Kevin McLeod Bickel (Andy Van Dyke).
