With a bright smile and huge heart, Tony was loved by all, especially his niece, nephews and other younger relatives. Tony loved children and they loved him. Uncle Tony was their big “Teddy Bear”.
A graduate of Cathedral High School’s class of 1994, Tony was a talented athlete. He excelled in football as a kicker and punter. In ice hockey, Tony was known for his speed and the velocity with which he could strike the puck.
However, it was in the kitchen that Tony’s skills shined the brightest. His timing, knife skills, and ability to juggle multiple tasks were invaluable, especially during large family gatherings like Thanksgiving and Easter. Tony’s kitchen skills were honed over many years as a kitchen manager at several restaurants, including BW-3, Texas Roadhouse, and most recently Culvers at Ft. Ben.
Tony is survived by his mother and father, Catherine Corsaro Dezelan and Joseph Dezelan, his siblings Martin (Anne-Marie), and Jodi Perdue (Rick), his niece Kate Perdue, and his nephews, Jack Perdue and Jeramie Frazier. Tony was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph and Yolanda Dezelan and Peter and Catherine Corsaro.
