Antonie Anderson

Antonie Anderson, age 91, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2025. Antonie was born in Stuttgart, Germany the daughter of Michael and Mathilde (Loeffler) Fuchs. She was a Registered Nurse working in hospital Emergency Departments for many years.

Motherhood was something that Toni Anderson embraced! She wore many hats... From homeroom mother, scout leader, fixer of our boo boos, and my role model. I always knew that when Mama said Franziska Matilde, I was in TROUBLE. She was the best mama ever! People gravitated towards Mama. She was perky, selfless, friendly, and she had a bubbly personality. One (could not resist her smile. It was warm, friendly, and always welcoming! If you ever needed anything, Mama was there for you. She loved us all. Mama instilled values and made sure we were taught to respect, love, people, and love God. Mama was very crafty. She could look at a dress and say I can make that. She would cut patterns from the newspaper and make that dress! It always astounded me. Antonie Anderson was an extraordinary person and will be missed tremendously. I love you, Mama!! Thank you for making me the woman I have become. Mom was unique, a beautiful person. She was caring, loving, so very giving, thoughtful, kind, smart, patient, intelligent, positive, generous, and respectful, and so much more. Helped anyone at any time with anything. She was a good listener, hugger, hand holder, and her advice and words came from wisdom. She loved to have fun, dance, sing, cook, bake and craft. She enjoyed making others happy.

She was my guiding light and my truest joy. Living life with mom was an awesome, exciting and incredible journey. I will miss her!

She is survived by her daughters, Dr. Yvonne Teverbaugh of Indianapolis and her husband Keith, Fran Stowe of Newalla, Oklahoma and Angie King of Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Toni had 5 grandchildren, Walter, Pamela, David, Anthony, and Patricia they all live Oklahoma City, 10 great-grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
