66 passed away on March 24, 2012. She was born January 15, 1946 in Richmond, Virginia to Garrett Lee and Lottie Mae Cooper Davenport. She was raised in Georgia and Alabama. Barbara was a devoted loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed time with her family and friends. Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 34 years Arthur Dale Cook Jr., daughter Susan Tyree, step children Katherine Dennison, Jennifer Cook and Ronald Cook, sister Patricia Huiet, brother James L. Davenport and several grand children and great grandchildren. A memorial gathering to celebrate Barbara’s life will be held on Sunday, April 1, 2012 from 2-4 pm, with time to share stories at 3 pm at Little and Sons Funeral Home Stop 11 Chapel.
