Barbara �"Bobby†Frierson Downs, 84, passed away November 22, 2014. Bobby was born in Bowling Green, KY, on December 29, 1929 to the late John and Essie (Robinson) Frierson. She is a 1949 graduate of Central High School in Louisville, KY.
Bobby retired from Link-Belt-Bearing Division where she worked for 23 years. Bobby loved to bake cookies, cakes and pies for all of her grandkids and neighbors.
She was preceded in death by her son Ronald Walker as well as Edward Downs. Bobby leaves behind her loving children: Darryl Walker, Carl Walker, Dwight �"Ricky†Walker, Donna Coleman, and Regina Walker; a combined 28 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; father of her children Horace Walker; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, December 1, 2014 from 11:00am until 1:00 pm, with the memorial service immediately following at 1:00pm in Crown Hill Funeral Home.
