Bernice Fowlkes, 68, of Indianapolis, passed away on the night of April 1, 2017. Bernice retired as a bus driver from Durham Transportation. She leaves to cherish her memory, daughter, Quinetta Fowlkes; siblings: Andrew Fowlkes, Jr. (Teresa), Gerald Fowlkes, Alonzo Watford, III, William Watford, Michael Watford, George Lewis, Ralph Lewis, Tony Lewis, Janice Fowlkes, Elizabeth Mitchell (Jim), Marian Goliday, Helen Conners, Barbara Woods and Patricia Paschal (James); 3 grandchildren and a very large group of extended family and friends. The visitation is Saturday, April 8, 2017, 9am - 11am, with the Homegoing at 11am at Temple of Praise Assembly, 3969 Meadows Drive. The interment will immediately follow in New Crown Cemetery.
