Bessie Mae Brown was born on May 31, 1924 to her proud parents George and Izora Stevenson in Charleston West Virginia. Bessie was a member of Irvington First Baptist Church for over 65 years serving in many capacities, Mothers Board, Usher Board, and the Adultchoir.Bessie was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friends to many and loved by all she will forever be in their hearts.Bessietransitioned from labor to rest into her Heavenly Father's arms on January 2, 2019. at the age of 94.Bessie is preceded in death by parents, husband John L. Brown; sons Kevin Brown and Darryl Brown, daughter Bridgette Hibbler, sister Vivian Savage and brother, Oscar Stevenson. Bessie leaves to cherish her memories son John Adaway (Catherine), daughters Jacqueline Brown and Sandra Stevenson; grandchildren Tasha Brown, Ashlee Brown, Nikki Hibbler, DJ Hibbler and many more; great grandchildren Essence Hibbler and many more
