77, of Indianapolis, formerly of North Vernon, passed away on July 13, 2016. Betty had a heart for collecting, whether it was things or memories, she kept her treasures close. Her kind heart and feisty personality will be surely missed by her husband, Jerry; her children, Cathy (Wade) Reed and Eric Scruggs; her grandchildren, Rachel Vest, Martie Scruggs, and Anika Lumpkin; her great grandchildren, Storm White and Dajia Collier; her great-great grandchild, Brodie White; and her 10 brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 15, 2016 from 10am until the time of service at 12pm in Family Funeral Care (5891 Rockville Rd., Indianapolis) with burial in Butlerville Cemetery.
