Billie Lee Bedgood Jr.

Billie “Shag” Lee Bedgood Jr, 75, of Indianapolis, IN, was born to Billie Bedgood Sr and Laura Kosik on November 20th 1949 in Portsmouth, Virginia.

He married his wife, Rosa Bedgood, on August 14th 1969 and spent 56 years together until the day he passed. They had 4 children together; Tirea Chantel Bedgood Williams, Billie Lee Bedgood III, Thomas Scott Bedgood, and Laura-Ann Louise Bedgood.

Billie’s passion in life, ever since he was a young boy, was the world of maintenance and repair. Most notably the automotive industry where he found a love for working on cars and racing. He was a gearhead through and through and could be found regularly working on his hotrods, hanging out at classic car meets, and watching automotive programming.

Aside from being a lifelong mechanic, Billie was also a loving father to his children and dependable friend to many. All of which will tell you that he enjoyed getting into mischief and sharing hilarious stories about his adventures in life. A real “Life of the Party” kind of guy who will be missed dearly by everyone who loved him.

He is survived by his wife, numerous siblings, his children, and an army of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Rest in Power “Shag”. Your impact and memory will live on in the hearts of many for years to come.
