Billy R. Thomas

Billy R. Thomas was born on April 8, 1940 to Wilbert and Beaulah Thomas in Joelton, TN. After graduation from Howe High School, Billy went to work at Engineering Research as a Machinist. He was a hard worker and quickly climbed the ladder, which led to him being named the Vice President of Manufacturing. He continued as the Director of Manufacturing when ERI was purchased by Bendix.

In 1986, Billy left Bendix to start Thomas/Euclid Industries, Inc., which he was actively involved in up until his passing.

Billy loved playing golf and traveling with his wife. He was very generous and supported numerous charities throughout his life.

Billy is survived by his wife, Jeanette Thomas. Children – Billy Kevin Thomas (wife Mitzi), Michael Scott Thomas (wife Gwen), Ronald Thomas, Shelley Thomas, Laura Cain (husband Richard Cain). And 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. And brother – Gerald Thomas.

He was proceeded in death by Janet Thomas (daughter), Roy Donovan (son-in-law), Harold Thomas (brother), Bob Thomas (brother), Patricia Probst (sister), and Wilbert and Beaulah Thomas (parents).

A public visitation will be held at Little & Sons Funeral Home, located at 4901 E Stop Eleven Road, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46237, on December 1, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Another public visitation will take place at Zion Lutheran Church, 6513 W 300 S, Indpls, IN, 46163, on December 2, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

The funeral service will follow at the same church on December 2, 2025, starting at 11:00 am.
