Bobby Ashlock

Robert Jerry Ashlock, (BOBBY) Known as Bobby Ashlock 71 years young, of Indianapolis, passed away on March 24, 2019. Bobby was born January 30, 1948 in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, the son of the late Robert Cecil and Lois Ashlock. Bobby worked for Herff Jones as a Tig Welder for 32 years. Retiring in 2013 Bobby's inability to sit idle went back to work. His love for semi trucks and freight dock work took a position with Milan Trucking. To quote Bobby when asked why work he would say "Loading trailers is like working puzzles and I love working puzzles." As a forklift operator for few years before completely retiring. He was a former member of Masonic Lodge #669. Bobby is survived by his wife of 48 years; Susan Ashlock, children; Jerry, Jason (Brandi) Ashlock and Amanda Latta, sisters; Lois Garrison, Joyce VanZant, Barbara Craig, Stella Patrick and Shirley Rickard and 5 grandchildren; Jeremiah, Jordan, Evan, Trejon and Hannah. Visitation for Bobby will be held on Friday, March 29th, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Family Funeral Care. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 30th, at 1:00 pm also at Family Funeral Care.
