

Bonnie dedicated her career to pediatric cardiology, serving for many years as the director of a pediatric cardiology technology clinic. She was an echocardiologist and contributed to important research in the field at Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. Her work touched many lives and left a lasting impact in the medical community.
In 1952, Bonnie married the love of her life, Paris C. Johnson, and they shared 54 wonderful years together until his passing. She was a devoted mother to five children: Steve, Mike, Mark, Jon Scott, and Candy McClintock. Her legacy continues through her 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, all of whom she cherished deeply.
Bonnie and Paris found great joy in their time together, spending holidays in Tarpon Springs, Florida, with dear friends and taking memorable cruises to the Bahamas. She was an enthusiastic supporter of her children’s athletic pursuits in wrestling and tennis and took great pride in their achievements. She believed deeply in the value of education and instilled this belief in her children.
Bonnie’s warmth, intelligence, and unwavering support for her family will be deeply missed. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
A celebration of Bonnie’s life will be held at Emmanuel Church—Stones Crossing Campus; 1640 W. Stones Crossing Road, Greenwood, IN on May 3, 11 AM.
