As a young man the family moved north, and he attended George Washington Carver Public School #87 and was a graduate of Crispus Attucks High School.
“BT” met and married the love of his life, Mrs. Maggie Lee Bond on January 23rd, 1960. Together they raised four beautiful children and showed them what it was like to be united as a family, filled with Love, laughter and compassion.
“BT" was a hard-working man and a great provider to his family. He worked at Chrysler until his retirement in August of 1998. Nothing ever bothered him! He was a man of great composure and was always in control of his emotions. One of his favorite quotes was “Everything is Lovely”.
“BT” enjoyed the small things in life and never took anything for granite. He enjoyed sitting in his favorite chair watching sports and maybe betting a little bit here and there.
