

Brad had an amazing encounter of Jesus Christ as a young child. He had been very sick for over a week with a fever that would not break. He had so many people praying for his condition. One night, Brad went to sleep and when he woke up the next morning and went to his parent’s room to tell them that he was healed. Brad said, “Jesus talked to me last night in my bedroom and told me that I am all better now”. He went on to describe Jesus as wearing white clothes and having hair like wool.
Brad accepted Jesus Christ in his heart as a youth. He accepted Jesus in his life during a Wednesday night Royal Ranger service. He really enjoyed being in Royal Rangers. He liked earning his badges and always enjoyed going on campouts with the group. He also loved to bring his neighborhood friends.
Growing up in a large family, Brad enjoyed spending time with his brothers and sisters. He enjoyed a strong bond with his brothers. He enjoyed playing sports as a youth. He had his greatest enjoyment playing little league baseball. One of his happiest moments during his childhood was making the All Star team as a 12 year old.
Brad attended school in the Warren Township school district. He graduated from Warren Central High School in May 1993. He furthered his education at the University of Indianapolis. He graduated with a Bachelor Science in Physical Education in May 1998.
Brad's passion was working in social services, in particular youth at risk. He spent the bulk of his career working for Password, Easter Seals Crossroads, and the Excel Center at the Meadows holding positions in various capacities. Brad was always very encouraging to all people that he met and worked with. He had a very infectious smile that naturally drew people toward him. Outside of work, he enjoyed helping to coach his nephews in youth basketball. He also loved to watch old television sitcoms such as Good Times, Different Strokes, and Sanford & Son.
Brad was united in Holy Matrimony to Tori Frost on July 7, 2007. After marriage, he enjoyed spending time and bonding with his stepson DezmonD. Their union was further blessed on September 17, 2010 with the addition of their son Bryce, which was one of the happiest days of his life.
Brad departed this earthly life on Sunday January 19, 2014. He leaves behind to cherish his memory: his loving wife Tori, his son Bryce, stepson DezmonD, his mother Betty Harvey, his father William Harvey, brothers Derrek (Margie)Mallory, Skyler (Carla)Harvey, William (Tori)Harvey, Jason Harvey, Joshua Harvey; sisters Sherri Mallory, Michelle Hill, Kim (Scott) Hicks, Kelly (Mark )Feyock, Brooke Harvey, Jaime Harvey, mother-in-law Sheryl Frost, sister-in-law Candy Garrett; aunts; uncles; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
His visitation will take place on Saturday, January 25, 2014, 10am to 12pm, with the Homegoing Celebration commencing at 12pm at The Caring Place, 2901 N. Post Road, Indianapolis, Indiana. The burial will immediately follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.
