Brittany Nicole Carter

Brittany Nicole Carter 23, of Indianapolis passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday evening, April 17, 2019. Brittany adored her family with all her heart and especially doted on her nieces and nephews whom she often referred to as “her children.” She spent the majority of her spare time spending time with them and spoiling them. Brittany had the biggest heart and loudest laugh. She enjoyed being social and spending time with her friends. She lived in the moment and was always the life of the party. Her bright, engaging smile and bubbly personality could light up any room. Brittany graduated with her Bachelor’s in Computer Information Technology from Purdue University-Indianapolis in May 2018 which was her proudest moment. She worked at Modern Information Solutions as a Systems Support Analyst since July 2018 where she enjoyed the company of her co-workers. Brittany is survived by her mother Annetta (Steve) Jenkins; father Mark (Dawn) Carter; grandparents Jack (Sharon) Ferrell, Marvin (preceded in death by Martha) Carter, and Marsha (Dwane) Kaylor; siblings Christopher (Nikki) Carter, Jessica (Josh( McKee; stepbrother Tyler (Natalie) Wertz; aunts Cindy (David) Harper, Melissa (Joel) Butler, and Joni (David) Straub; cousins Nick and Andrew Butler, Ashely and Jake Sullivan, Zachary and Brayden Dow, and Jacob Straub; nieces and nephews Lily, Preston, and Everette Carter, Grayson McKee, and Keaton Wertz. Visitation will be held from 5-8PM on Monday, April 22nd, at Little & Son’s Funeral Home. Feel free to wear Pacers Gear to remember Brittany by. Services will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, April 23rd, at Little & Sons Funeral Home with a one hour visitation preceding the service from 11-12 noon.
