Bruce Christian Richter, 70, of Indianapolis and formerly of Milwaukee, WI passed away May 20, 2019. Bruce was born in Milwaukee the son of the late George Sr. and Alvina (Jensen) Richter. He is a US Army Vietnam Veteran and retired from Briggs & Stratton in Milwaukee where he was a Machinist. He also worked at Kroger at Country Club and Rockville Rd. for a number of years. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Neil Russell and a brother, George Richter, Jr.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Diane (Cordray) Richter; his children, Jeffery Russell, Eric Russell and his wife Traci, Dale Russell and his wife Becky, Kathi Bothwell and her husband Richard, Dean Russell and his wife Amanda, Mel Duncan and Tim Duncan; his brother, Ken Richter; 9 grandchildren, Lexi, Joey, Hannah, Jak, Ashley, Jazmine, Ali, Dean and Elizabeth.
Visitation will be held from 1pm until 6pm, Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, 9201 E. County Road 100 North, Avon, IN 46123. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at the church. Burial will be in Floral Park Cemetery with military rites.
