Buford graduated from Muncie Central High School and joined the military in 1960 – 1963. He served in Germany as a communication specialist & a Boxer.
After he left the Army, Buford moved to Boston, Massachusetts, working at General Motors. After 30 years of employment for General Motors he retired.
After retiring from General Motors, he went to work at Cincinnati Financial Insurance for 10 years.
Buford professed hope in Christ at Solid Rock Church in Cincinnati and served there until his death.
He is survived by his wife, Willie Mae Turner, and his children: Galen, Crystal, Charity, Kareem & Felicia. He is also survived by his sister (Gloria) & brother(Kent), grandkids, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives & friends.
