I lived down the street from Carey and we were good friends in elementary school. My sincere condolunces to all of his family. You will be in our prayers.

A friend of the Hall family, I have known Carey since his days at Center Grove.  Carla, even though we do not know each other, I, like all of the others want to extend my deepest sympathies to you and your boys. Carey was a good man and one who did not deserve to be saddled with ALS.  He helped me set up fieldtrips to his racing shop and he was great when it came to talking cars with the 75 kids that we brought.  His passion for his work lit up his face and you could see his joy when he shared it with us.  He was instrumental in making it a great day for our kids and myself.
I will keep you and your family in my daily prayers and pray that God grants you peace and comfort in the days ahead.

I grew up with Carey, we have truly lost one of a kind. I am sorry for your loss and will pray for you and your family. Know that Carey is watching over and will always be with you.

I am so sorry to hear my homeroom and locker buddy is gone.  From 6th grade to senior year you were in the seat in front of me in homeroom and had the locker right beside me. Carla, and family my name is kevin Kelly and I grew up with Carey and I am sorry for your loss and that I didn't get to see him in his last days and I regret that I didn't get the opportunity to meet you all. I can only imagine how hard the past few years have been on all of you, he was a good man, a great friend and will be greatly missed by many.

Carla, Marcy, Lucas and I have you and the family in our prayers. I have nothing but wonderful, mostly hilarious,  memories of my years working with Carey. I can only imagine what the past few years have been like for you all. However, Carey's outlook on the entire journey has been an inspiration to me. I can only hope that faced with the same circumstances that I would be as strong. I am sorry that we can not be there.
