She was preceded in death by her parents, Stepmother Betty, Son Stephen, and Brother David.
She is survived by her Husband of 64 years Jack, Children Doug (Sherri), Beth (Tony), and Julie (Robert). And by Grandchildren Adam (Cristale), Jon, Nick, Emily, Megan, JT (Kayla), Sophie, and Will, and 4 Great Grandchildren.
She married Jack Berlier on August 16, 1958 - which was the luckiest day in Jack's life.
She and Jack had a full and wonderful life together. They laughed together a lot, and at times, cried together. They enjoyed travels - saw much of the U.S., and a bit of the world. They threw coins in the Trevi Fountain (it didn't work), enjoyed a glass of wine watching dusk fall over the bay at Santorini, saw the Kirov Ballet, and a Strauss concert by the Vienna Philharmonic. They walked on a glacier, danced in the "Sound of Music" gazebo, cruised the Yangtze, and spent many weeks in Suzhou with trips to Shanghai, Xian, Saigon, and Angkor Wat.
After graduating from Shortridge, she worked as a clerk for Metropolitan Life - until she was promoted to full-time Mom, involved in school, Scouts, and the Kids and Grandkids' sports.
Her family came first - her wisdom, patience and grace served as a model for three generations of Kids, Grandkids, and Greats. We were blessed to be with her for 84 years. We are thankful for the friends who enriched her life - many from Joan of Arc, Shortridge, the Arrowhead and Steinmeier neighborhoods, and Saint Pius parish.
