Carol Ann McDaniel

Carol Ann McDaniel, age 75, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Monday March 5, 2018. Carol was born September 20, 1942 to Elvira Hutson and James T Hutson. Carol met her husband Jack, where they soon after married in 1967 and had 44 years together until his passing in 2011. Carol's love of teaching knew no bounds as she retired from the South Bend School Corporation after 30 long years of service and received a teacher of the year award proving her passion for the education of the students she loved. Carol is survived by; daughter Cathy Van Bree; and son Bryan (Gail) McDaniel; sister Pamela (Bruce) Hutson-Smith, sister Joan (Lou) Parks and sister Linda Bognar; grandson Brendan McDaniel, granddaughter Katie McDaniel and granddaughter Ashley Van Bree. Carol was preceded in death by her husband Jack Edward McDaniel; father James T Hutson and mother Elvira Hutson; brother James Hutson.
