Carolyn Michele (Dickmeyer) Reutter

Carolyn Michele (Dickmeyer) Reutter, age 33, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away Friday, April 19, 2019. Carolyn was born November 17, 1985 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Steve and Mary Ellen Dickmeyer. She attended St. Pius X Catholic School. She graduated from Bishop Chatard High School in 2004. After high school she went to Purdue University where she obtained her Bachelor's Degree. She also obtained her Master's Degree from Ball State University. She met the love of her life, Lance Reutter, on St. Patrick's Day in 2011. Carolyn and Lance got married on July 27, 2013 and had two daughters, Kate and Anna. Carolyn was an ABA Therapist for autistic children. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Parish. She loved decorating her home and spending time with her family, especially her daughters. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Carolyn is survived by her loving husband, Lance Reutter; daughters, Kate and Anna Reutter; parents, Steve and Mary Ellen Dickmeyer; sisters, Katie (Tim) Healy, Teresa (Peter) Leenhouts and Barbara (Chris Schenck) Dickmeyer; nieces and nephews, Norah Healy, Liam Healy, Fiona Healy, Charlie Leenhouts and James Leenhouts. parents-in-law Glenn and Marlene Reutter; sister-in-law, Lindsey Lareau; and brother-in-law, Landon (Megan) Reutter. Carolyn was preceded in death by her grandparents, Arthur and Barbara Helms and Russell and Mary Margaret Dickmeyer. A visitation for Carolyn will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM with a prayer service from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 7200 Sarto Drive, Indianapolis, Indiana 46240. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, April 26, 2019 at 11:00 AM also at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, 9001 Haverstick Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46240. In lieu of flowers, the family has opened an account at Chase for the education and welfare of Kate and Anna.
