She has been loved ever since she came into this world on September 3, 1979 in Indianapolis to parents Jack Woodard (deceased) and Katrina A. White. Carrie attended Northwest High School before getting her GED and going on to working at many franchises as a lead manager wherever she went. Carrie was lead zone manager at the store “At Home” in Greenwood, Indiana during the time of her passing.
Carrie’s unexpected passing comes as a shock to her family, friends, and loved ones. All of whom are still reeling at the loss. She lived a vibrant life and still had so much ahead of her. Carrie was taken far too soon but she made sure she left an admirable impression on everyone around her before she left.
In light of the sudden news, the family asks that you remember Carrie for who she truly was. Someone with a kind heart that never thought twice about helping those she loved and those in need. Someone so selfless, caring, hardworking and loved.
Carrie was preceded in death by her father (Jack Woodard), Maternal Grandparents (Homer T. and Velvie E. Smith), Paternal Grandparents (Charles and Arlene Vanscoyk), Uncles, Cousins, and more loved ones, but is survived by Katrina A. White (Mother) and Zero (the best dog anyone could ask for). She is also survived by many other family, friends and loved ones that will always remember Carrie knowing that she is in Heaven still loving them from above.
Viewing is June 3, 2025 from 12pm to 6pm at Family Funeral Care located at 5791 Rockville Rd. Indianapolis IN. 46224. There will only be one viewing before she is cremated. Following her cremation close family and friends will be asked to join the family at the gravesite for a small burial service. Any donations are asked to be made to the GoFundMe that was created. Donations will go towards Carrie’s funeral costs and would be greatly appreciated. Any extra made from the donations will be directed towards charity. The charity has yet to be determined as she believed in so many causes but will likely go towards an organization that helps animals such as the Humane Society.
