He attended School #19 and Crispus Attucks High School.
His father, Mack Cloyd, mother, Frances Williams Cloyd, brothers, Mack Cloyd Jr, Guy Cloyd, Benjamin Cloyd, sisters, Cherrie Brewer, Dollie Mae Green, Lela Dicus preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memory, sons, Byron Cloyd, Carlos Cloyd, Charles Cloyd Jr, Derrick Shaw, daughter, Marla Cloyd, brothers, Joseph Cloyd (Toni), Denver, Co, sister, Virginia Patterson (John), 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
His visitation will take place on Monday, March 30, 2015, 10am- 12pm, with the Homegoing Celebration commencing at 12pm at Olivet Missionary Baptist Church. His burial will take place in New Crown Cemetery.
