Chester C. Walton was born on October 17, 1943 to Chester and Florine Walton of Chattanooga, TN. He attended Public Schools. He also received a year’s education at Lane College in Jackson, TN. While living in Chattanooga, he worked for the Mueller Corporation and worked for the railroad. Inducted into the Army serving two years as an MP in Vietnam. Chester returned to Chattanooga after is service in the Army. He has 2 sons, Chester Walton and Maurice Walton, 1 daughter, Celeste Brown, grandchildren and great grands. Preceded in death, his parents Chester and Florine Walton and brother Stanley Walton.
Chester relocated to Indianapolis, Indiana. He was a Truck Driver for several companies until becoming ill which resulted in him working for Work One. He was an avid reader and enjoyed fishing and cooking. He loved children and he was also loved by all.
While driving in Indianapolis, he was united with Brenda Minion and her children, Yvette Johnson, Nicole Johnson and Brian Minion. Resulting in a long, long relationship and marriage. This union, there are 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
