Damon Thomas Bond

Damon Thomas Bond, age 75 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Tuesday , March 16, 2021. Damon was born August 2, 1945 in Indianapolis to Damon and Jessie Smith Bond. He was a web pressman for the Indianapolis Star and News. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Centre Masonic Lodge #23, Indianapolis Scottish Rite, Indianapolis Murat Shrine and the Order of Quetzalcoatl. He was also a member of the Murat Police Club motorcycle drill team. Damon is survived by his wife Earla Bond, son Joseph (Patty) Bond, grandchildren Audrey Bond Hadden (Andrew), Eileen Bond and Thomas Bond. Providing much love and support during his later years were brother-in-law Fred C. Hembree and sister-in-law Karen Hembree, nephews Steven (Tory) and Justin (Priyanka) Hembree and 3 great nieces and 1 great nephew. Damon was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson, Michael Bond. Visitation will be Saturday March 20 from 10 am to 12 pm at Feeney -Hornak Shadeland Mortuary.
