Debra Ellen Johnson

Debra was a woman of warmth, strength, and compassion whose joyful spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. She was the devoted wife of Mr. Richard Johnson, with whom she shared 49 years of marriage, and the loving mother of Melissa Elliott-Bryant and her husband, James Elliott; Amy Johnson; and Jason Johnson.

She was a proud and devoted grandmother to six grandchildren and a great-grandmother to two, with two more great-grandchildren expected. Debra is also survived by her brother, Buddy Collier, as well as her beloved niece, Delilah, and nephew, Stephen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin sister, Denise, older brother, Steve, as well as her son, Jason.

Debra found great joy in spending time with her family, crafting, visiting casinos, and discovering treasures in thrift stores. Her kindness, sense of humor, and love of life will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Her legacy is one of love, laughter, and devotion. Debra’s presence brought light and happiness to those around her, and her memory will forever remain a source of comfort and inspiration to her family and friends.
