83, of Indianapolis died January 21, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 30, 1932 in Detroit Michigan to Chester E and Alma S. Dunn Mapes. She was the executive director for Cope Youth Program in Indianapolis. She was a member of St. Pius Catholic Church. Dee is survived by her children Gary Preston, Gail Boggs, Donna Smith, Daniel Preston, Maureen Hoosier, Martina Sternberg, Matthew Preston, sisters Sharon Tavi, Marilyn Grenier, Jackie Wright, 19 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands Harold Preston, Morris “Bud” Wray, Charles E. Henry, son Martin Preston. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, January 25 at 12 pm at St. Pius Catholic Church with visitation from 10 until service time. Burial will be at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Avon Park, Florida. Memorials in Dee’s name may be made to Alzheimer’s Association. Service entrusted to Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary.
