Donald Vincent Traub

Donald V. Traub, 58, passed away September 20, 2013. Don was born in Indianapolis, graduated from Cathedral High School, and earned a degree from Indiana University and an MBA from Butler University. He was employed in finance and accounting during his work life. Don was an intelligent man who was always available to help family and friends. Those who understood his witty remarks appreciated his humor. All who knew him will dearly miss him. He is survived by his daughter Emily, son Eric and former wife Elizabeth (Killion) Traub; sisters Anne Thompson, Joan Traub-Martin and Martha Nelson; brothers Paul, Jerry, Pat and Tim, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Bernard and Margaret Traub, and sister Helen. He was a long-time member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Indianapolis, where he was a Parish Council member, lector and parish projects volunteer. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 25 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 7243 E. 10th Street, Indianapolis, with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions shall be made to Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Indianapolis. Services entrusted to Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary.
