Doris Marie Reynolds 69, of Indianapolis, was called home on April 1, 2010. Sis. Reynolds was a faithful member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church for more than 50 years. She was active in the Nurses Auxillary, Hospitality Ministry, Sister Friends, Drill Team, Choir, and the Donut&Coffee Ministry. She retired from Central State Hospital/LaRue Carter State Hospital after 35 years of service. She is survived by her mother Idella Thrasher; sons, LaMonte G. Reynolds (Andrea), Charles J. Reynolds and Benjamin Lee Reynolds (Pamela); daughter Rhonda M. Reynolds; brothers, Charles E. Thrasher (Marie)and Deacon Leroy Thrasher; sisters, Anna M. Sawyer; Catherine Reynolds and Marcella Young. In 1990 she was preceded in death by her daughter, Tisha D. Reynolds. Services will be held on Friday, April 9, 2010 at 1p.m. at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 1003 West 16th Street. Friends may call on Friday, April 9, 2010 from 11a.m. until the time of the service. Burial: Washington Park North Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Williams & Bluitt Funeral Home.
