

92, of Indianapolis passed away peacefully at home on December 16, 2014. She was born September 17, 1922 in Indianapolis to George and Stella (Pfeiffer) Wohlhieter. She was an administrative assistant for Pennsylvania, Penn Central and Conrail Railroads for 32 years, retiring in 1982. She was a resident of the Crestwood East Community and member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, the Railroad Business Women’s Association and two Hindel bowling leagues. She is survived by her children: Carol (Amos) Duncan, Donald (Lisa) Baker Jr., Jeffrey (Linda) Vicari-Baker, Jerry (Julie) Baker, daughter-in-law Linda Baker, sister Rose Bussell, brother Joseph (Ann) Wohlhieter, 19 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Donald E. Baker Sr., son Steven Baker and brother George Wohlhieter. Visitation will be Friday December 26 from 6–9 pm at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary. Funeral services will be Saturday December 27 at 9:30 am at the mortuary followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
