Eddie Langford Jr.

Eddie received his early education in the IPS School System. He also attended Crispus Attucks High.

Eddie joined the Marine Corp, upon completion of duties, he returned home to unite with Laura Turner. Eddie and Laura met as children in the neighborhood, where Eddie was Laura’s family paperboy. Now… our dad claims he never received payment for delivering those papers…

Eddie married Laura and they moved to California where they raised 4 kids, Eddie Langford the 3rd, Genise Langford, Margie Jones, and Melinda Steen.

Eddie is a retired Marine, and retired from Ikon as a Photo Lad Tech Supervisor.

Eddie leaves to cherish his memory, his children: Eddie Langford 3rd, and wife Donna, Margie Jones and husband Michael, and Melinda Steen, and husband Samuel, and eleven Grandchildren.

None of this would have been possible without the love and support from his wife Laura Langford. Our Mother always said Eddie loved and supported her, and our Mother became a Shining Star. Laura made sure that Eddie received his Honorary Degree for putting Laura through school and helping to raise their kids together, they always worked as a team.

On March 5, 2021, we lost our Daddy. Daddy, you were my hero, my protector, my teacher, my probation officer, and in the end my Best Friend. Words will never be able to express the love that your family has for you. You and Momma worked so hard to love and teach and protect us. The love we feel for you cannot be measured. There are two things that I believe helps us at a this time. We know you are with GOD and with your one true love Laura Bell Langford.

This is not Goodbye we will see you on the other side.
