Edward E. Bessler, 76, of Manitowoc, WI passed away on November 4, 2020 in Indianapolis, IN. Ed was born in Newberry, Michigan on August 10, 1944. He married his high school sweetheart, Sandra Stanfield Bessler on August 31, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Indianapolis, IN. Ed was a proud Marine and served our country during the Vietnam War. He earned an engineering certificate from Michigan Technological University in Houghton, MI.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Stanfield Bessler, sons: Kevin Bessler (fiancé Kindi), Kurk Bessler (Chris), and Bret Bessler (Jodi) along with step-children: Susan Stanfield (Larry Zan), Dr. Matthew Stanfield (Jennifer), and Chad Stanfield along with many grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.
A celebration of Life will be held in Manitowoc, WI on November 14, 2020. In lieu of flowers, please donate in Ed's memory to the Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.
