Edward Baker Ogan, age 79, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away peacefully at home on Monday, May 22, 2023. Ed was born in Wabash, Indiana to Nellie (Bottorf) Ogan and Loren Ogan. Ed graduated from Wabash High School in 1962 before moving to Indianapolis to work as a an architectural draftsman. He later started his career in commercial building material sales. Ed loved cooking, art, and all music but he especially loved entertaining family and friends and photography. He loved to capture snapshots of family and friends and their gatherings. He also treasured all of his pets who held a special place in his heart.
Ed is survived by his wife, Margaret (Ankenbrock) "Maggie" Ogan; nieces, Lori Vincent and Mandy Wehrley (Curt); great nieces, Natalie Barberan (Jose), Sarah Vincent, and Samantha Miller (Jordan); great nephew, Devin Wehrley,; great-great nephew, Bennett Barberan; great-great niece, Abigail Barbera; brother-in-law, Bill Ankenbrock; Godson, Jason Mogg; and many cousins, extended family members, and life-long friends.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Loren Ogan and Nellie (Bottorf) Ogan; brothers, Bob Ogan and Jim Ogan; sister-in-law, Katie Ogan; and nephew, Mike Ogan.
A Memorial Gathering for Ed will be held Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary, 2126 E 71st St, Indianapolis, Indiana 46220.
