Eleanor Maxine Dean

87, of Indianapolis, passed away November 13, 2012. She was born November 16, 1924 in Indianapolis to Earl and Sarah Cecilia “Babe” O’Reilly Sloan. Maxine worked for Hamilton Livengood Hamilton CPA as an administrative manager for 35 years, retiring in 1990. She was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church. Maxine is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Edward) Stryker, grandchildren: Edward “Eddie” Dean Stryker, Sarah “Sally” Cecilia Stryker, sister, Mary Barbara Schmidt, loving brother-in-law, William J. Schmidt, niece, Martha Jean (Larry) Fish Blake, nephew, Gerald Luke (Brenda) Fish, nephew, Michael A. (Tammy) Schmidt, niece, Kathryn E. (Michael) Waggoner, friend and like a second daughter, Patricia Luedeman Jay and a host of loving nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Owen Dean, sister Martha Jean (Luke) Fish, nephews Charles A. Fish and Daniel F. Schmidt. Funeral services will be Friday, November 16 at 12:30 pm at Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary with a Mass of Christian Burial at 1 pm at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Visitation will be Friday November 16 from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm at the mortuary. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
