Elsie Louise Anderson

Elsie was born in Paris, Tennessee to Roy and Elizabeth Puckett on May 29, 1945. She went to Central High School where she graduated in 1963. She was married to Alfred Anderson on December 18, 1976 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She retired from Methodist Hospital after 36 years as a nurse’s aide.

Elsie is preceded in death by her husband Alfred Anderson, stepson Paul Anderson, her parents Roy and Elizabeth Puckett, her sisters Vivian Puckett and Gwendolyn Ray, and brother Joe Puckett.

Elsie is survived by her son Joel D. Ray Jr, her step-daughters Linda Wright, Bonita Tucker, Kimberly Webb (Richard), LaDonna Bowling (Hiawatha), and stepson Brian Anderson (Shirley), brother–in–law Nathanial Anderson, Sister Edna Williams and brother Roy Puckett Jr. A host of step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Two nieces Cynthia Puckett and Dehia Williams, and nephew Steven Puckett (Tanisha).

Visitation will be held from 10 am to 12 pm on Saturday, August 19th. Crown Hill Memorial Chapel, with services there right after visitation. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to Crown Hill Funeral Home.
