89, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on November 4, 2017 at St. Paul Hermitage. Elva was born April 27, 1928 in Washington, IN the daughter of the late Owen and Ida Barber. She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, enjoyed cooking, reading and was an avid Pacer fan. However, her true love was her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters; Maria Adams, Jane (Duke) Bilyeu, Cynthia (Ike) Levy and Susan (Larry) Adams, son; Timothy Adams, sisters; Joyce Stringer and Mary Henson, brother; John Barber, 12 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years; Charles E Adams in 2003. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, November 8th, at 11:00 am in St. Ann Catholic Church, 6350 S. Mooresville Rd with visitation from 10:00 am until time of Mass. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Church in Elva’s name.
