I was very sorry to read of Elvie's passing. I worked with her for many years at Riley in the early 70's and 80's when she ran the blood gas lab among other duties. Elvie was one of the sweetest, most pleasant people I have every worked with and we became friends. She was always encouraging to staff, with great patience to the "newbies". While I did not see her after I left Riley, I have always had fond memories of her. My prayers are with your family.
