Emma L. Brooks, 69, Indianapolis, passed away on October 4, 2016. She retired as a Press Operator from AM General. She also had been a member of Pentecostal Temple C.O.G.I.C. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Brooks and Mary Fenster; siblings: Jessie Ward, Joe Smith, Sammie Smith, Annie Mae Peterson and Stella Patton.Emma leaves to cherish her memory, children: Derrick Polk, Anita Vance (Raymond) and Sharon Polk; siblings: James Brooks, Marilyn Brooks and Danella Smith Winfield and a host of other relatives and friends. The visitation is Saturday, October 15, 2016, 9am - 11am with the service at 11am in Williams & Bluitt Funeral Home, Peoples Chapel. The interment will immediately follow in Sutherland Park Cemetery.
