Emma K. Norris

Emma K. Norris was born in Richmond Kentucky on March 10, 1928 to Rena and Joseph Livers Sr. Emma had 8 brothers and sisters and all but two preceded her in death. Emma married Stanford Norris on August 11, 1948 and they were married until his death on August 17, 2007. Emma graduated from Crispus Attucks High School and later retired from General Motors after years of service. Emma was a faithful member of Mt. Carmel Church for over 40 years. Emma was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Steven G. Norris, sisters, Lucille Bunton, Margaret Percy, Shirley Walker, Roxie Stevens, brothers, Bellwood and Joseph Livers. Emma departed this life on Monday, January 30, 2023 at the age of 94. Emma leaves to cherish her memory her son Dewaine Norris (Karla), sister Mary Bass, brother Thomas Livers, grandson DeJuian Norris (Yvonne), granddaughters Tonya Randolph (Jeff) Tiara Washington (Montez), great grandchildren, Aasma Gerrid, Xaveon, Alannah, Kamon, Arianaa, and great great grandson D-Andta, sisters-in-law Margaret Jouett, Mary Livers, brother-in-law Arthur Stevens, a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
