Eva Nell Wagner, age 89, of Greenwood, Indiana passed away at Grand Brook Memory Care on Saturday, January 2, 2021. Eva was born December 21, 1931 in Portland, Tennessee to the late Alta Florence (Clark) Blankenship and Henry Martin Blankenship. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold Wagner; granddaughter, Kayla Voorheis; and siblings, Sidney Blankenship, Jonah Blankenship, Albert Blankenship, Carl Blankenship, Jo Helen Wood, and Tennie Blankenship. She was a past member of Greenwood Church of Christ and had most recently been attending Southport Church of Christ. Eva worked as an underwriter for Indiana Lumberman's and then Farm Bureau. She was a 1950 graduate of Decatur Central High School. She was blessed with a wonderful sense of humor that her friends and family will remember as well as her homemade banana pudding.
Eva is survived by her children, Danny Voorheis, Larry Voorheis, Mary Ann Schmid (Richard), and Linda Critser (Jack); sister, Velma Drake; grandchildren, Amanda Wilson (Eric), Heather Childers, Seth Voorheis, Rachel Barnes (Daniel), Alan Critser, and Andrew Schmid; 6 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 8, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Little & Sons Funeral Home, 4901 E Stop Eleven Road, Indianapolis, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be Friday, January 8, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Greenwood, Indiana. The service will be live streamed on the Facebook page of Little & Sons Funeral Home - Indianapolis and viewable in the services section of her obituary page at www.littleandsonsindianapolis.com. There is a 25 person capacity during visitation as people come in and out and the service capacity is 25. Masks and social distancing are required, please be mindful that others may be waiting to pay their respects during the visiting.
