

Francine May Carter of Indianapolis, Indiana age 65 passed away on December 31, 2018 with her family by her side. She was born the only child to the late Charles Smothers and Donnie Mae Currie on October 13, 1953 in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Francine attended George Washington High School. She married her childhood sweetheart Andrew Holder on February 20,1970. Seven children were born to this union: Charles, Kimberly, Andrew, Nathan, Antonio, Kimberly and CaCiya.
Francine retired from Frame Nursing Home as a Housekeeping Supervisor after 20 years of service in 2001. Prior to easing into full retirement she worked for a short time at both Family Dollar and for Indianapolis Public Schools Transportation.
Francine later married Booker Carter on November 12, 1999 wherein she gained 2 children Booker Jr and Marian. Francine was an active member of Christ Church Holiness where she enjoyed bible study, morning breakfast fellowship and trips.
Francine loved shopping, going out to eat and her purses!!! More than that she loved her family! She was known for giving you "the eye" when you were out of line. She was preceded in death by both her parents, daughter Kimberly Holder, son, Antonio (Nida) Holder and granddaughter Miya Holder.
Francine's Legacy to cherish her memory are her husband Booker Carter, her children Charles (Nicole) Holder, Andrew Holder, Nathan (LaTasha) Holder, Kimberly (Anton) Jackson, CaCiya Holder, Booker Carter Jr and M. Tremaine Poole, 32 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, Christ Church Holiness church family and all those who love her.
