

Frank E. Quarles was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Malcolm and Fannie Quarles. He attended school at IPS school 41 and Shortridge High School. Frank graduated in 1966. After high school he attended Lincoln University of Missouri. He received a certificate from a business college in
computer technology.
Frank worked as a computer technologist for 40 years at Eli Lilly. He was honored to be a flight attendant for Lilly Corporate Airplanes and was able to travel the world while working.
Frank attended Beulah Baptist Church and was baptized at a young age. He was in the church choir, he served as treasurer, and was an ordained Deacon. Frank then attended Temple of Christ Church, where he served there as a Deacon and treasurer.
Frank liked to travel and be with family. He was an avid Colts fan and a Colt’s Season Ticket holder for over 35 years. Frank knew no strangers. Everyone loved him. Many of Kristen and Jason’s friends knew him as dad. He was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, Deacon, treasurer, family man, Colt's fan, and friend.
Frank is preceded in death by his Father Malcom Quarles Sr., Mother Fannie Quarles-Legg, Brothers Malcolm Quarles Jr., and James Quarles.
Frank is survived by his wife Rae Michele of 45 years, daughter Kristen Bostic (Arian,) son Jason E. Quarles, granddaughters Ashlen Michele, Aubrey Rian and Alivia Renee, sisters; Marcella Summers, Sherri Quarles, Carole (Curtis) Rhim, other relatives and many friends.
A masonic rite for Frank will be held Friday, July 21, 2023, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Crown Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery, 700 W. 38th St., Indianapolis, Indiana 46208. A visitation will occur Friday, July 21, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, 700 W. 38th St., Indianapolis, Indiana 46208. A celebration of life will occur Friday, July 21, 2023, at 1:00 PM, 700 W. 38th St., Indianapolis, Indiana 46208.
